DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of the year again! The Casper Rotary Club Great Duck Derby will be taking place Saturday, August 21st in conjunction with the Platte River Trails Riverfest. Ducks will hit the water at 3:30pm and the drawing will be held at 5:00pm.\nHow does it work?\nRotary Club owns thousands of rubber ducks, all with unique numbers printed on the bottom. “Adopt” a duck by making a donation in exchange for a ticket. Your ticket # and contact info will be entered into our master database and then using a randomization program, every ticket is assigned a duck number. Using a massive boom, ducks are all released into the river at once. They are then collected at the finish line and winners are determined by matching the winning duck numbers back to the ticket purchaser.\nHow do I enter?\nDuck Derby tickets are $20.00 each and can be purchased here ( https://casperrotary.ticketbud.com/duck-derby-2021-27827fb9-8b1dc6535597?_ga=2.47752547.554458923.1623104234-2036285927.1622154027&fbclid=IwAR2kr3ADM334IXNtM4C2-txtbnz3cZ6dQ8GXLfsyXQvvCuGGG0IzwE8Y6gQ ), from any local Rotarian, at Hilltop Bank, Altitude Veterinary Hospital, Martinizing Dry Cleaning, Jonah Bank, Hampton and Suites, Casper Chamber of Commerce, and Urban Bottle. Tickets are on sale now through 3:00pm on August 21st.\nPrizes include a $5000 Grand Prize, two $1000 prizes, a Primo Ceramic grill donated by Keyhole Outdoor Living, as well as many other local goodies!\nWho does it help?\nProceeds from the Duck Derby have been used to fund past projects including Rotary Park at Garden Creek Falls, Crossroads Adventure Playground, support for the Wyoming Rescue Mission, Casper College Board Room, gutter bins/clean river project, the Wyoming Food for Thought greenhouse project, and the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies food packing project.\n
